Once a year Stadscahiers presents an overview of developments in urban regeneration. Fifteen remarkable buildings are extensively documented and described in detail. Efforts to improve these neighbourhoods can succeed only if new construction and renovation are combined with a programme in which participation, improvements in education, good health care and employment are also given priority.
